حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي الْمَقْبُرِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ يَبْعَثُ الْبُعُوثَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ ائْذَنْ لِي أَيُّهَا الْأَمِيرُ أُحَدِّثْكَ قَوْلًا قَامَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْغَدَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْفَتْحِ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي وَأَبْصَرَتْهُ عَيْنَايَ حِينَ تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ أَنْ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ مَكَّةَ حَرَّمَهَا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهَا النَّاسُ فَلَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ يَسْفِكَ بِهَا دَمًا وَلَا يَعْضِدَ بِهَا شَجَرَةً فَإِنْ أَحَدٌ تَرَخَّصَ لِقِتَالِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا فَقُولُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَذِنَ لِرَسُولِهِ وَلَمْ يَأْذَنْ لَكُمْ إِنَّمَا أَذِنَ لِي فِيهَا سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ وَقَدْ عَادَتْ حُرْمَتُهَا الْيَوْمَ كَحُرْمَتِهَا بِالْأَمْسِ وَلْيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Sa'id, meaning al-Maqburi, told me, from Abu Shurayh al-Adawi, that he said to Amr ibn Sa'id, while he was sending out expeditions to Mecca: "Permit me, O Commander, to tell you a saying that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood and delivered the day after the day of the Conquest - my ears heard it, my heart retained it, and my eyes saw him when he spoke it - he praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: 'Indeed Mecca - Allah has made it sacred, and people did not make it sacred. So it is not lawful for a man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to shed blood in it, or to cut down a tree in it. If anyone takes license to fight in it citing the Messenger of Allah's fighting, peace and blessings be upon him, then say: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, permitted it for His Messenger, and He did not permit it for you. He only permitted it for me for an hour of the day, and its sanctity has returned today as it was yesterday. Let those present convey this to those absent.'"
