قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَشْيَاخَنَا مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ قَالُوا أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمَّ قَوْمَكَ وَإِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمَكَ فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمْ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُومُ فِيهَا الصَّغِيرُ وَالْكَبِيرُ وَالضَّعِيفُ وَالْمَرِيضُ وَذُو الْحَاجَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from al-Nu'man ibn Salim, who said: I heard our elders from Thaqif say: 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As informed us that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: Lead your people in prayer, and when you lead your people, be brief with them in the prayer, for among them stands the young, the old, the weak, the sick, and the one with pressing needs.
