قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ فَبَايَعْنَا وَإِنَّ قَمِيصَهُ لَمُطْلَقٌ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي مِنْ جَيْبِ الْقَمِيصِ فَمَسِسْتُ الْخَاتَمَ قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَلَا أَبَاهُ شِتَاءً وَلَا حَرًّا إِلَّا مُطْلِقَيْ أَزْرَارِهِمَا لَا يَزُرَّانِ أَبَدًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said, Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us: Abu Khaythama told us, from Urwa ibn Abdullah ibn Qushayr al-Ju'fi, who said: Mu'awiya ibn Qurra told me, from his father, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, among a group from Muzayna, and we pledged allegiance to him, while his shirt was loose. I pledged allegiance to him and put my hand inside the collar of his shirt and touched the Seal of Prophethood. Urwa said: I never saw Mu'awiya or his father, winter or summer, except with their shirt-buttons undone — they never buttoned them, ever.
