قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أُمَيَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ تَزَوَّجْتُ ابْنَةَ أَبِي إِيهَابٍ فَجَاءَتْ امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ يَعْنِي فَذَكَرَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتْكُمَا فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُمْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَكَلَّمْتُهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ سَوْدَاءُ قَالَ فَكَيْفَ وَقَدْ قِيلَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah told us, from Isma'il - meaning Ibn Umayyah - from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from 'Uqbah ibn al-Harith: I married the daughter of Abu Ihab. Then a black woman came - meaning - and mentioned that she had suckled the two of us. So I went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and stood before him and spoke to him, but he turned away from me. I stood on his right, but he turned away from me. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, she is only a black woman." He said: "How can it be, when it has been said?"
