حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ ثُوَيْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ هَذَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ فَصُومُوا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِصَوْمِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Husayn ibn Muhammad told us, Isra'il told us, from Thuwayr, who said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, while he was on the pulpit, say: This is the day of 'Ashura, so fast it, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded that it be fasted.
