حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَّرَهُ عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ فَخَرَجْتُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ فُلَانًا فَأَحْرِقُوهُ بِالنَّارِ فَلَمَّا وَلَّيْتُ نَادَانِي فَقَالَ إِنْ أَخَذْتُمُوهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُعَذِّبُ بِالنَّارِ إِلَّا رَبُّ النَّارِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sa'id b. Mansur narrated to us: al-Mughirah b. Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, who said: Muhammad b. Hamzah al-Aslami narrated to me, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, put him in command of an expedition, and I went out in it. He said, "If you seize So-and-so, burn him with fire." Then, when I had set off, he called me back and said, "If you seize him, kill him instead, for none punishes with fire except the Lord of the Fire."
