Abd al-Samad b. Abd al-Warith narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Layth narrated to us, from Talhah, from his father, from his grandfather, that he saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wipe his head until he reached the nape of the neck and what follows it at the front of the neck, once. He said: al-qadhal is the nape of the neck.
