قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ غَسَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الرَّسِيمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَفَدْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَهَانَا عَنْ الظُّرُوفِ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَدِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْنَا إِنَّ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضٌ وَخِمَةٌ قَالَ فَقَالَ اشْرَبُوا فِيمَا شِئْتُمْ مَنْ شَاءَ أَوْكَأَ سِقَاءَهُ عَلَى إِثْمٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He narrated to us: Abdullah — and I myself also heard it from Abdullah b. Muhammad b. Shaybah — he said: Abd al-Rahim b. Sulayman narrated to us, from Yahya b. al-Harith al-Taymi, from Yahya b. Ghassan al-Taymi, from Ibn al-Rasim, from his father, who said: We came as a delegation to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he forbade us the use of certain containers. Then we came to him again and said, "Our land is an unhealthy land." He said, "Drink from whatever you wish; whoever wishes may tie the neck of his waterskin upon sin."
