حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلِمَةَ قَالَ كَانَ تَأْتِينَا الرُّكْبَانُ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَسْتَقْرِئُهُمْ فَيُحَدِّثُونَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْثَرُكُمْ قُرْآنًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Asim narrated to us: Khalid al-Hadhdha' informed me from Abu Qilabah, from Amr ibn Salamah, who said: Riders used to come to us from the direction of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and we would ask them to recite [what they had learned], and they told us that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Let the one among you most versed in the Qur'an lead you in prayer.
