حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ أَشْعَثُ سَيِّئُ الْهَيْئَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا لَكَ مَالٌ قَالَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا أَنْعَمَ عَلَى عَبْدٍ نِعْمَةً أَحَبَّ أَنْ تُرَى عَلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bahz ibn Asad narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us: Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr informed us from Abu al-Ahwas, that his father came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, disheveled and of poor appearance, so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: Do you not have wealth? He said: Of every kind of wealth, God, Mighty and Sublime, has given me. He said: Indeed, when God, Mighty and Sublime, bestows a favor upon a servant, He loves to see it displayed upon him.
