حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّائِبِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُشَارِكُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ فِي التِّجَارَةِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْفَتْحِ جَاءَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرْحَبًا بِأَخِي وَشَرِيكِي كَانَ لَا يُدَارِي وَلَا يُمَارِي يَا سَائِبُ قَدْ كُنْتَ تَعْمَلُ أَعْمَالًا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا تُقْبَلُ مِنْكَ وَهِيَ الْيَوْمَ تُقْبَلُ مِنْكَ وَكَانَ ذَا سَلَفٍ وَصِلَةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Sa'ib ibn Abi al-Sa'ib used to be a business partner of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) before Islam. On the day of the conquest, he came to him and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Welcome to my brother and partner who would neither deceive nor quarrel. O Sa'ib, you used to do good deeds in the pre-Islamic era that were not accepted from you, but today they are accepted from you.' And he was a man of generosity and good relations.
