حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُصَيْنُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَأَى فِي الْقَوْمِ رِقَّةً فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَأَهُمُّ أَنْ أَجْعَلَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا ثُمَّ أَخْرُجُ فَلَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا أَحْرَقْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْمَسْجِدِ نَخْلًا وَشَجَرًا وَلَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَى قَائِدٍ كُلَّ سَاعَةٍ أَيَسَعُنِي أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِي قَالَ أَتَسْمَعُ الْإِقَامَةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَأْتِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Umm Maktum narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to the mosque and saw that the congregation was few, so he said: 'I am thinking of appointing an imam for the people, then going out and not finding anyone who stays behind from the prayer in his house except that I would burn it down upon him.' Ibn Umm Maktum said: 'O Messenger of Allah, between me and the mosque there are palm trees and trees, and I cannot find a guide at all times. Can I pray in my house?' He said: 'Can you hear the iqamah?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then come to it.'
