حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ صُوَرٌ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَنْ يَمْحُوَهَا فَبَلَّ عُمَرُ ثَوْبًا وَمَحَاهَا بِهِ فَدَخَلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَا فِيهَا مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sulayman ibn Dawud told us, Abd al-Rahman told us, from Musa ibn Uqbah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: There were images in the Ka'bah, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered Umar ibn al-Khattab to erase them. Umar wetted a cloth and erased them with it, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered it while nothing of them remained in it.
