حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى وَيَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ.

Musa and Yahya ibn Adam told us, they said: Zuhayr told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cannot find sandals, let him wear leather socks; and whoever cannot find a lower wrap, let him wear trousers."
