حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُرِيَ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ نِيطَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنِيطَ عُمَرُ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَنِيطَ عُثْمَانُ بِعُمَرَ قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَلَمَّا قُمْنَا مِنْ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَا أَمَّا الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ فَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَّا ذِكْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ نَوْطِ بَعْضِهِمْ لِبَعْضٍ فَهُمْ وُلَاةُ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ الَّذِي بَعَثَ اللَّهُ بِهِ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid ibn Abd Rabbih told us, Muhammad ibn Harb told us, al-Zubaydi told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Amr ibn Aban ibn Uthman, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who used to relate that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A righteous man was shown a vision tonight, that Abu Bakr was attached to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Umar was attached to Abu Bakr, and Uthman was attached to Umar." Jabir said: When we got up from before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we said: "As for the righteous man, he is the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; and as for the Messenger of Allah's mention of their being attached to one another, they are the guardians of this affair with which Allah sent His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him."
