حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِيمَا سَقَتْ الْأَنْهَارُ وَالسَّيْلُ الْعُشُورُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّانِيَةِ نِصْفُ الْعُشُورِ.

Surayj ibn al-Nu'man told us, Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, from Amr ibn al-Harith, that Abu al-Zubayr told him, that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah mention that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "On what is watered by rivers and rainfall, a tenth [is due]; and on what is watered by means of a water-drawing animal, half a tenth."
