حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابَهُ مَرُّوا بِامْرَأَةٍ فَذَبَحَتْ لَهُمْ شَاةً وَاتَّخَذَتْ لَهُمْ طَعَامًا فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا اتَّخَذْنَا لَكُمْ طَعَامًا فَادْخُلُوا فَكُلُوا فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ وَكَانُوا لَا يَبْدَءُونَ حَتَّى يَبْتَدِئَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُقْمَةً فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يُسِيغَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذِهِ شَاةٌ ذُبِحَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ أَهْلِهَا فَقَالَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَا نَحْتَشِمُ مِنْ آلِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ وَلَا يَحْتَشِمُونَ مِنَّا نَأْخُذُ مِنْهُمْ وَيَأْخُذُونَ مِنَّا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Samad told us, Hammad told us, from Humayd, from Abu al-Mutawakkil, from Jabir: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions passed by a woman, who slaughtered a sheep for them and prepared food for them. When he returned, she said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have prepared food for you, so come in and eat." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions went in - and they would not begin until the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, began. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, took a mouthful but could not swallow it, and said: "This is a sheep that was slaughtered without its owner's permission." The woman said: "O Prophet of Allah, we are not embarrassed before the family of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh, nor are they embarrassed before us - we take from them and they take from us."
