حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ أَنْ نَصُومَهُ.

Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us regarding the Day of 'Ashura' that we should fast it.
