حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُنِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ فَكَبَّرْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ النَّاسِ قَالَ فَكَبَّرْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا الشَّطْرَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "I hope that those who follow me among my nation will be a quarter of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection." He said: we said, "Allah is greatest." Then he said, "I hope they will be a third of the people." We said, "Allah is greatest." Then he said, "I hope they will be half."
