حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْجَعْدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ اشْتَكَى أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهِ الْعَطَشَ قَالَ فَدَعَا بِعُسٍّ فَصُبَّ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ يَدَهُ وَقَالَ اسْقُوا فَاسْتَقَى النَّاسُ قَالَ فَكُنْتُ أَرَى الْعُيُونَ تَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyar ibn Hatim told us, Ja'far - meaning Ibn Sulayman - told us, al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman told us, Anas ibn Malik told us, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari, who said: the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, complained to him of thirst. He called for a large bowl, and a little water was poured into it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, put his hand into it and said, "Drink!" So the people drank from it. He said: I saw the springs gushing out from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
