حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ أُمَّ مَالِكٍ الْبَهْزِيَّةَ كَانَتْ تُهْدِي فِي عُكَّةٍ لَهَا سَمْنًا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَيْنَا بَنُوهَا يَسْأَلُونَهَا الْإِدَامَ وَلَيْسَ عِنْدَهَا شَيْءٌ فَعَمَدَتْ إِلَى عُكَّتِهَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُهْدِي فِيهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدَتْ فِيهَا سَمْنًا فَمَا زَالَ يَدُومُ لَهَا أُدْمُ بَنِيهَا حَتَّى عَصَرَتْهُ وَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَعَصَرْتِيهِ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ لَوْ تَرَكْتِيهِ مَا زَالَ ذَلِكَ لَكِ مُقِيمًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir: that Umm Malik al-Bahziyyah used to send a gift of ghee in a small skin container of hers to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. One time, while her children were asking her for something to eat with their bread and she had nothing, she went to the container in which she used to send gifts to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and found ghee in it. It kept on providing food for her children's bread until she pressed it dry, and then she came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "Did you press it out?" She said, "Yes." He said, "Had you left it, it would have continued to remain for you."
