حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَحُجَيْنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَنِي لِحَاجَةٍ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيَّ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَانِي فَقَالَ إِنَّكَ سَلَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ آنِفًا وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي وَهُوَ مُوَجِّهٌ حِينَئِذٍ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus ibn Muhammad and Hujayn told us, they said: Layth told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had sent me on an errand; then I caught up with him and greeted him with salam, but he gestured to me. When he finished, he called me and said, "You greeted me just now while I was praying," and he was at that time facing east.
