حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَحْلَاءَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَيَّانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِيمَانِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ.

Abu Amir told us, Ya'qub ibn Muhammad ibn Tahla told us, Khalid ibn Abi Hayyan told us, from Jabir, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever claims allegiance to someone other than his rightful patrons has cast off the collar of faith from his neck."
