Hashim told us, Zuhayr told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said: Sa'd ibn Mu'adh was struck by an arrow in his forearm vein, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cauterized it with his own hand using a broad-headed arrow; then it swelled, so he cauterized it a second time.
