Sufyan told us, from Amr and Ibn al-Munkadir, who both heard Jabir — one of them adding to the other — say: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I entered Paradise and saw in it a palace, or a house, and I heard in it a voice, and I said, 'Whose is this?' It was said, 'Umar's.' So I wanted to enter it, but I remembered your jealousy, O Abu Hafs." So Umar wept — and he said another time: and this was reported to Umar — and Umar said, "O Messenger of Allah, would I be jealous of you?" Sufyan said: I heard this from Ibn al-Munkadir and Amr, both of whom heard Jabir. Abdullah told us, who said: I found these hadiths in my father's book, in his own handwriting, up to the end of the hadith of al-Hakam ibn Musa.
