The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, and she would feed him. Umm Haram was married to Ubadah ibn al-Samit. One day the Messenger of Allah visited her and she fed him. She began delousing his head, and he fell asleep. Then he woke up laughing. She said: 'What makes you laugh, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'People of my ummah were shown to me, riding this sea, like kings upon thrones.' She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that I may be among them.' He said: 'You are among them.' Then he fell asleep again, woke up laughing, and said the same. She said: 'Pray to Allah that I may be among them.' He said: 'You are among the first ones.' She rode the sea in the time of Mu'awiyah and was thrown from her mount when she came out of the sea, and she died.
