حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْنِ فَأَتَى قَوْمَهُ فَقَالَ أَيْ قَوْمِ أَسْلِمُوا فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا لَيُعْطِي عَطَاءَ مَنْ لَا يَخَافُ الْفَاقَةَ وَإِنْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ لَيَجِيءُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يُرِيدُ إِلَّا الدُّنْيَا فَمَا يُمْسِي حَتَّى يَكُونَ دِينُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ أَوْ أَعَزَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا بِمَا فِيهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas said: 'Some of the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked his wives about what he used to do in private. One of them said: I will not marry women. Another said: I will not eat meat. Another said: I will not sleep on a bed. The Prophet (peace be upon him) praised Allah and said: What is wrong with people who say such and such? Rather, I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me.'
