حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ كَأَنِّي مُرْدِفٌ كَبْشًا وَكَأَنَّ ظُبَةَ سَيْفِي انْكَسَرَتْ فَأَوَّلْتُ أَنِّي أَقْتُلُ صَاحِبَ الْكَتِيبَةِ وَأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُقْتَلُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Anas, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I saw in a dream, as the sleeper sees, that I was riding behind a ram, and that the edge of my sword had broken, so I interpreted it as meaning that I would kill the leader of the enemy troop, and that a man from among the people of my household would be killed."
