حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ عَنْ زِيَادٍ النُّمَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ إِذَا لَقِيَ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ يَقُولُ تَعَالَ نُؤْمِنْ بِرَبِّنَا سَاعَةً فَقَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ لِرَجُلٍ فَغَضِبَ الرَّجُلُ فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى ابْنِ رَوَاحَةَ يُرَغِّبُ عَنْ إِيمَانِكَ إِلَى إِيمَانِ سَاعَةٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ ابْنَ رَوَاحَةَ إِنَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمَجَالِسَ الَّتِي تُبَاهَى بِهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَيْهِمْ السَّلَام.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Samad told us, 'Umarah told us, from Ziyad al-Numayri, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Abdullah ibn Rawahah, whenever he met a man among his companions, would say: "Come, let us believe in our Lord for a while." One day he said this to a man, and the man became angry, and went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of God, do you not see Ibn Rawahah, preferring an hour's faith to your faith?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "May God have mercy on Ibn Rawahah — he loves the gatherings which the angels, peace be upon them, take pride in."
