حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ إِمْلَاءً عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رِعْلًا وَعُصَيَّةَ وَذَكْوَانَ وَبَنِي لَحْيَانَ أَتَوْا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرُوهُ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَسْلَمُوا وَاسْتَمَدُّوا عَلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَأَمَدَّهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَبْعِينَ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ كُنَّا نُسَمِّيهِمْ الْقُرَّاءَ فِي زَمَانِهِمْ كَانُوا يَحْتَطِبُونَ بِالنَّهَارِ وَيُصَلُّونَ بِاللَّيْلِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ غَدَرُوا بِهِمْ فَقَتَلُوهُمْ فَقَنَتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى هَذِهِ الْأَحْيَاءِ عُصَيَّةَ وَرِعْلٍ وَذَكْوَانَ وَبَنِي لَحْيَانَ و حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ أَنَّا قَرَأْنَا بِهِمْ قُرْآنًا بَلِّغُوا عَنَّا قَوْمَنَا أَنَّا قَدْ لَقِينَا رَبَّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَرَضِيَ عَنَّا وَأَرْضَانَا ثُمَّ نُسِخَ أَوْ رُفِعَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Sa'id told us, by dictation, from Qatada, from Anas ibn Malik, that Ri'l, Usayya, Dhakwan, and Banu Lihyan came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and informed him that they had become Muslims and requested reinforcement against their people. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent them seventy of the Ansar as reinforcement - he said: we used to call them "the Reciters" in their time; they used to gather firewood by day and pray at night - until, when they were at Bi'r Ma'una, the tribes betrayed them and killed them. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed qunut for a month, supplicating against these tribes: Usayya, Ri'l, Dhakwan, and Banu Lihyan. And Anas told us: We used to recite concerning them a Qur'anic verse: "Convey to our people on our behalf that we have met our Lord, and He is pleased with us and has made us pleased" - then it was abrogated or lifted.
