Affan told us: Hammad told us: Thabit informed us, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to raid at the time of the dawn prayer; he would listen, and if he heard a call to prayer he would refrain, and otherwise he would raid. One day he listened and heard a man saying "Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest," so he said: "Upon the natural disposition." Then he said: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah," so he said: "You have come out of the Fire."
