حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ جَاءَ أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ يَسْتَحْمِلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَافَقَ مِنْهُ شُغْلًا فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا أَحْمِلُكَ فَلَمَّا قَفَّى دَعَاهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ حَلَفْتَ أَنْ لَا تَحْمِلَنِي قَالَ وَأَنَا أَحْلِفُ لَأَحْمِلَنَّكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah told us: Humayd told us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Abu Musa al-Ash'ari came seeking a mount from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and found him occupied, so he said, 'By God, I will not mount you.' When he turned to leave, he called him back and said, 'O Messenger of God, you swore not to give me a mount.' He said, 'And I swear that I will indeed give you a mount.'
