حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمِ فِطْرٍ قَطُّ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ تَمَرَاتٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَأْكُلُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ ثَلَاثًا فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَزْدَادَ أَكَلَ خَمْسًا فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَزْدَادَ أَكَلَ وِتْرًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Asim told us: Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Anas informed us, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: 'The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, never went out on the day of Fitr until he had eaten some dates.' He said: And Anas used to eat three before going out, and if he wanted more he would eat five, and if he wanted more still he would eat an odd number.
