حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وَحُسَيْنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الشَّيْبِ مَا يَخْضِبُهُ وَلَكِنْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ رَأْسَهُ وَلِحْيَتَهُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ قَالَ هَاشِمٌ حَتَّى يَقْنَئُوا شَعْرَهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim and Husayn told us, they said: Muhammad ibn Rashid told us, from Makhul, from Musa ibn Anas, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did not have enough gray hair to dye, but Abu Bakr used to dye his head and beard with henna and katam. Hashim said: until their hair turned a deep reddish color.
