حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا.

Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us: Hisham told us, from Qatada, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade a man from drinking while standing.
