حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَا خَطَبَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا قَالَ لَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لَا أَمَانَةَ لَهُ وَلَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَا عَهْدَ لَهُ.

Abd al-Samad and Hasan ibn Musa told us, they said: Abu Hilal told us, from Qatadah, from Anas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, never gave us a sermon without saying: There is no faith for one who has no trustworthiness, and no religion for one who keeps no covenant.
