Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah told us, he said: Hilal ibn Suwayd Abu Mu'alla informed me, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say, "Three birds were given as a gift to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he gave one bird to his servant to eat. The next day she brought it back to him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her, 'Did I not forbid you to save something up? Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, brings the provision of each new day.'"
