حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كُنَّا نُهِينَا فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَنْ نَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُنَا أَنْ يَجِيءَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ الْعَاقِلُ يَسْأَلُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَتَانَا رَسُولُكَ وَزَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَرْسَلَكَ قَالَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَمَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاءَ قَالَ اللَّهُ قَالَ فَمَنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ قَالَ اللَّهُ قَالَ فَمَنْ نَصَبَ هَذِهِ الْجِبَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاءَ وَخَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ وَنَصَبَ الْجِبَالَ آللَّهُ أَرْسَلَكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَزَعَمَ رَسُولُكَ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمِنَا وَلَيْلَتِنَا قَالَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَزَعَمَ رَسُولُكَ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا زَكَاةً فِي أَمْوَالِنَا قَالَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَزَعَمَ رَسُولُكَ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا صَوْمَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فِي سَنَتِنَا قَالَ عَفَّانُ قَالَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَزَعَمَ رَسُولُكَ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا الْحَجَّ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا قَالَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ عَفَّانُ ثُمَّ وَلَّى ثُمَّ قَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا أَزِيدُ وَلَا أَنْتَقِصُ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَئِنْ صَدَقَ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bahz narrated to us, and Affan narrated to us, both said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Thabit — Affan said: Thabit narrated to us — who said: Anas said: We were forbidden in the Qur'an from asking the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about things. He said: And it used to please us when an intelligent man from the desert-dwellers would come and ask the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: So a man came and said: "O Muhammad, your messenger came to us and claimed that you claim that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent you." He said: "He spoke truly." He asked: "Who created the sky?" He said: "Allah." He asked: "Who created the earth?" He said: "Allah." He asked: "Who erected these mountains?" He said: "Allah." He said: "Then by the One who created the sky and created the earth and erected the mountains, has Allah sent you?" He said: "Yes." He said: "And your messenger claimed that five prayers are due upon us in our day and our night." He said: "He spoke truly." He said: "Then by the One who sent you, has Allah commanded you with this?" He said: "Yes." He said: "And your messenger claimed that a charity is due upon us in our wealth." He said: "He spoke truly." He said: "Then by the One who sent you, has Allah commanded you with this?" He said: "Yes." He said: "And your messenger claimed that the fast of the month of Ramadan is due upon us in our year." — Affan said — He said: "He spoke truly." He said: "Then by the One who sent you, has Allah commanded you with this?" He said: "Yes, and your messenger claimed that the Hajj is due upon whoever among us is able to find a way to it." He said: "He spoke truly." He said: "Then by the One who sent you, has Allah commanded you with this?" He said: "Yes." Affan said: Then he turned away and said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, I will not add to them nor take away from them anything." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If he has spoken truly, he will surely enter Paradise."
