Isma'il narrated to us: Sulayman al-Taymi informed us: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, who said: It was mentioned to me — though I did not hear it from him myself — that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among you are a people who worship persistently and strive" — meaning they impress the people and are impressed with themselves — "they pass out of the religion as an arrow passes through its target."
