حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ أَسْرَعَ الْمَشْيَ فَانْتَهَى إِلَى الْقَوْمِ وَقَدْ انْبَهَرَ فَقَالَ حِينَ قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ مَنْ الْمُتَكَلِّمُ أَوْ مَنْ الْقَائِلُ قَالَ فَسَكَتَ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالَ مَنْ الْمُتَكَلِّمُ أَوْ مَنْ الْقَائِلُ فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ لَمْ يَقُلْ بَأْسًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى الصَّفِّ وَقَدْ انْبَهَرْتُ أَوْ حَفَزَنِي النَّفَسُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَهَا أَيُّهُمْ يَرْفَعُهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هِينَتِهِ فَلْيُصَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكَ وَيَقْضِ مَا سَبَقَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, who said: Humayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said: A man came walking quickly and reached the people, out of breath, and said, when he stood in the prayer: "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise." When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, finished the prayer, he said: "Who was the speaker?" or "Who said it?" He said: The people were silent. He said again: "Who was the speaker, or who said it? For he said something good," or "he said nothing wrong." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I reached the row and I was out of breath," or "my breathing was hurried." He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I indeed saw twelve angels racing each other as to which of them would carry it up." Then he said: "When one of you comes to the prayer, let him walk calmly; let him pray what he catches, and complete what he has missed."
