حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ اسْتَشَارَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخْرَجَهُ إِلَى بَدْرٍ فَأَشَارَ عَلَيْهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَشَارَ عُمَرَ فَأَشَارَ عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ ثُمَّ اسْتَشَارَهُمْ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْأَنْصَارِ إِيَّاكُمْ يُرِيدُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ قَائِلُ الْأَنْصَارِ تَسْتَشِيرُنَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَا نَقُولُ لَكَ كَمَا قَالَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لِمُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ وَلَكِنْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَوْ ضَرَبْتَ أَكْبَادَهَا إِلَى بَرْكٍ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ إِلَى بَرْكِ الْغِمَادِ لَاتَّبَعْنَاكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ubaydah narrated to us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, consulted about his setting out to Badr, so Abu Bakr advised him, then he consulted Umar, and Umar advised him, then he consulted them (the Ansar), and some of the Ansar said: "It is you he means, O company of the Ansar." Then a speaker of the Ansar said: "Are you consulting us, O Prophet of Allah? We do not say to you as the Children of Israel said to Moses, upon him be peace: 'Go, you and your Lord, and fight, we will sit here.' Rather, by the One who sent you with the truth, if you were to press on to the depths, toward Bark" — Ibn Abi Adiyy said: toward Bark al-Ghimad — "we would follow you."
