حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ قَالَ ذَاكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام.

Abd ar-Rahman told us, from Sufyan, from al-Mukhtar ibn Fulful, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: A man said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "O best of creation!" He said, "That is Abraham, peace be upon him."
