حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ خِرِّيتٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو لَبِيدٍ لُمَازَةُ بْنُ زَبَّارٍ قَالَ أُرْسِلَتْ الْخَيْلُ زَمَنَ الْحَجَّاجِ فَقُلْنَا لَوْ أَتَيْنَا الرِّهَانَ قَالَ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لَوْ أَتَيْنَا إِلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تُرَاهِنُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ لَقَدْ رَاهَنَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ سُبْحَةُ فَسَبَقَ النَّاسَ فَهَشَّ لِذَلِكَ وَأَعْجَبَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Kamil told us, Sa'id ibn Zayd told us, al-Zubayr ibn Khirrit told us, Abu Labid Lumazah ibn Zabbar told us, who said: The horses were sent racing in the time of al-Hajjaj, so we said, "Let us go to the horse race." He said: So we went to it, then we said, "Let us go to Anas ibn Malik," and we asked him, "Did you used to hold horse races in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: So we went to him and asked him, and he said, "Yes, he raced a horse of his called Subhah, and it outran the people, and he was delighted and pleased by that."
