حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنْ تَقَرَّبَ عَبْدِي مِنِّي شِبْرًا تَقَرَّبْتُ مِنْهُ ذِرَاعًا وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ مِنِّي ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبْتُ مِنْهُ بَاعًا وَإِنْ أَتَانِي مَاشِيًا أَتَيْتُهُ هَرْوَلَةً.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Your Lord, the Almighty, said: 'If My servant draws near to Me a hand span, I draw near to him a cubit. If he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.'"
