حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ النُّخَاعَةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ وَكَفَّارَتُهَا دَفْنُهَا.

Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Sa'id, and Ibn Ja'far said, Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Spitting phlegm in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is to bury it."
