حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَلَهُمْ يَوْمَانِ يَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَدْ أَبْدَلَكُمْ بِهِمَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمَا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to Madinah, and they had two days on which they used to play in the time of pre-Islamic ignorance. He said, "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, has given you better than them instead: the day of Fitr and the day of Nahr."
