Isma'il told us, Abd al-Aziz told us, who said: Qatadah asked Anas: "Which supplication did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) most often make?" He said: "The supplication the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) most often made was: 'Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.' And when Anas wanted to make a supplication, he would make this supplication, and when he wanted to make [any other] supplication, he would include this in it."
