Yazid told us, Fudayl ibn Marzuq informed us, from Atiyya, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Allah is more joyful at the repentance of His servant than a man who lost his riding beast in a desert wasteland, sought it and could not find it, so he lay down resigned to death. While he was in that state, he suddenly heard the thud of the riding beast as it knelt down, so he uncovered his face, and there was his riding beast."
