حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَوَالِ مَوْلًى لِآلِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَتْ جَنَازَةٌ فِي الْحِجْرِ فَجَاءَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَوَسَّعُوا لَهُ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ وَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ خَيْرَ الْمَجَالِسِ أَوْسَعُهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id, freedman of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman b. Abi al-Mawal, freedman of the family of Ali, narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Amrah narrated to us, saying: There was a funeral in the Hijr, and Abu Sa'id came, and they made room for him, but he refused to come forward and said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The best gatherings are the most spacious ones.'"
