Surayj narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: We went on pilgrimage and camped under a tree, and Ibn Sayyad came and camped at its edge. I said: "We belong to Allah! What has this one poured upon me?" He said: "O Abu Sa'id, what I endure from people, and what they say about me! They say I am the Dajjal. Have you not heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say that the Dajjal will have no children and will not enter Madinah or Makkah?" I said: "Yes indeed." He said: "But I have had children, and I have left Madinah heading for Makkah." Abu Sa'id said: I felt some sympathy for him, but then he said: "By Allah, I know his location better than anyone." I said: "Woe to you for the rest of the day!"
